A very special thank you to everyone at San Elijo Joint Powers Authority (Eric’s employer) for coming to my rescue and doing the entire yard (especially our dear John Boyle, aka Work Horse, or my personal favorite Iron Man). Also, thank you to everyone who contributed to the plant/sod/dirt fund at Green Thumb Nurseries in San Marcos. I couldn’t have done this without your help. I highly recommend Green Thumb – they have been great. Please patronize this garden center. It’s huge and they are wonderful. A special thank you to Judy Poole, Linda Westler, Doris Soyland, Mary Boyens, Patti Long, and Hassie Fischer at Green Thumb. They had never done anything like this before, but were not intimidated and really jumped-in feet first. I’m very appreciative of all of their efforts.
I’m overflowing with gratitude….you have no idea. This project that initially overwhelmed me has been brought to life by dozens of amazing people. It is so beautiful, better than I ever imagined.
So thank you all so very much. Eric thanks you too, I’m sure, from his awesome vantage point – walking with the Lord. And please bookmark this blog page so you can check it from time to time. Iron Man has assured me that a wall will be built on the left side of the driveway and sod put in. This man doesn’t know the meaning of the “rest”. He is one amazing human being.
With much love and immense gratitude,
